Crash Landing?

Having just had its 1st anniversary a couple weeks back, JET apparently won’t live to see a second year as the people behind Nung Len and Escobar have just taken it over. Watch this space for more updates on the handover.

Old but Hot

Mini Thailand is throwing a shindig on Aug 22 to coincide with its 50th anniversary birthday festival at Silverstone, UK. To get a golden ticket to the party, register online now at www.mini.co.th. And while you’re there, grab the appropriate gear from the new 50 Years collection (we totally heart the Onitsuka Tiger range).

Peace Restored

After being cancelled back in April due to the government’s declaration of a state of emergency, Melody of Life, still under the Woodstock-ish theme The Missing Peace, is back and set to take place Jul 11-12. The concert lineup sees the usual suspects: Moderndog, Groove Riders, Monotone, Scrubb, Flure and more. There will also be heaps of fun events and handmade bric-a-brac stands from oh-so-indie celebs like a musician couple Koi and Yong and Oh Futon.
