In Roi-et, a man demands his dowry back after his wife refuses to sleep with him. Anan Sritawan, 30, and Rodsarin Moontri, 28, get married at the beginning of the month. Eight days pass and they still haven’t consummated their marriage because Rodsarin keeps postponing sex, saying that she has her period. Anan goes to the police to file an annulment and requests that Rodsarin give him back the B200,000 dowry he paid. Rodsarin has been summoned to negotiate a settlement.

In Rayong, a man dies after having three teeth extracted. Daycha Ngachang, 53, had been suffering from a toothache since the beginning of January so he finally decides to go to for a checkup at Rayong Hospital. There, a doctor pulls out three of his teeth; Daycha returns home where he vomits repeatedly and falls gravely ill. Mattanee Taoklum, 28, his daughter, takes him back to the hospital where he later dies. According to his doctor, Daycha died of a heart failure. However, when Mattanee checks the death certificate, it says he died of a lung infection. Further investigation is underway.

In Khampangpetch, a woman returns the money she stole to its owner. Lampuan Sudprasert, 46, travels from Suphanburi, with 15 of her employees, to sell cutlery in Khampangpetch area. There, she makes over one million baht in cash. Lampuan keeps all the money in a cardboard box in her bedroom and leaves the next day for work. When she returns, the money has gone missing. She reports the incident to the police who call all of her employees in for questioning. Sommai Wanawong, 51, one of her employees, later returns to the police station and confesses that she was the one who stole the money. She now wishes to return it to her boss because she feels sorry for her. Lampuan refuses to press charges, but the police insist on charging the thief.
