In Trat, monks are caught kayaking at a holiday resort. While on a snorkeling tour on Koh Wai, just south of Koh Chang, an unidentified man spots a group of monks close to the bungalows at Koh Wai Pakarang Resort. He says they seem to be sunbathing and kayaking. Amnard Buasiri, director of the Office of National Buddhism, comments that, while it is acceptable for monks to go sightseeing, it is inappropriate for them to engage in beach activities like swimming, and sunbathing. Amnard and a network of abbots are now trying to identify these monks to hand them an official warning.

In Udon thani, two ladyboys are caught stealing birth control pills. Peerapong Pohpet, 20, and Kritsada Thongma, 20, break into the Namsom Primary Healthcare unit and steal 50 packs of birth control pills along with condoms and some valuables. The two give themselves away when they attempt to use a stolen card at an ATM. After their arrest, the police discover that they have previously been charged for multiple thefts. The young men say they took the pills to grow breasts and used the money to entice men into having sex with them.

In Nakornpanom, a 26-year-old man marries a 73-year-old women. Somporn Chandarawong, 26, meets widower Thongsuk Puttawan, 73, while he is working as a waiter at a restaurant. Somporn and Thongsuk begin flirting and Somporn eventually asks for her number. They date for three months before deciding to marry. Thongsuk, a seasoned pageant queen, first got married when she was 18, and already has four children. Thongsuk’s three adult daughters and Somporn’s mother all approve of the wedding. Despite Thongsuk’s age, the newlyweds hope to have two children.

In Rayong, three male teenagers are killed by a train as they test their holy amulets. Raywat Parnsri, 51, is driving a train on its way to Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate from Chonburi when he spots three men lying on the track. Unable to stop in time, the train crushes the three unidentified men aged between 15 and 17. After further investigation, the police conclude that the men were laying on the tracks to test the powers of their tattoos and jatukarm amulets.
