In Chantaburi, a senior monk overdoses and dies on durian. Sara Tidtammo, 75, a senior monk at Klong Prue temple receives a large quantity of durian from villagers and then proceeds to eat it all. He feels a sharp pain in his chest and, thinking that it is a result of his many illnesses, decides to retire to his chamber. When Sara fails to show up for the alms offering the next morning, a fellow monk goes to check up on him discovering his dead body on the floor. Doctor Arak Wusutthaporn says that the monk suffered from diabetes and hypertension, and the high cholesterol contained in the durian worsened his condition, leading to a heart attack. The doctor adds that during the summertime, it’s best to avoid eating too much durian.

In Pattaya, a man bribes children to help him masturbate. Three unidentified children, two girls, aged 6 and 9, and an 8-year-old boy are out playing when street hawker Songkran Gnen-on, 30, approaches them and shows them a dildo. In Khonkaen, a serial breast squeezer goes to jail. Impoverished and unemployed Wirach Noitamyae, 30, finds himself forced to sleep on the street. He decides to stake out a fresh market in Khonkaen’s Muang district and grab the breasts of female passers-by in the hope of being arrested. Despite numerous attacks, his victims simply brand him a pervert but no one reports him until he grabs the breasts of a school teacher who screams for help. Upon getting arrested, Wirach admits that he is happy to go to jail because he will have a place to stay and free meals.
