In Chonburi, a ladyboy deliberately gets sent to jail so she can be with her partner. On her release from prison Anatsanon Walaijai, 21, a former go-go dancer pines for her still imprisoned boyfriend Arthit, 26. The pair met and fell in love in prison while doing time for the use and possession of drugs. Unable to wait a year for her lover’s release, Anatsanon buys marijuana, takes it to the police station and demands to be arrested. The police charge her with possession and send her back to the prison.

In Ubonratchathani, a lottery ticket sparks a case of air rage. An unidentified man, 50, is a passenger on a Thai Airways flight to Bangkok. Just after takeoff he begins shouting, demanding to be let off the plane so that he can buy a lottery ticket. A flight attendant eventually manages to calm him by speaking to him in Isaan dialect. The man admits that it is his first time on a plane and that he is on his way to make merit in the south of Thailand. Upon landing he is escorted from the plane by airport security.

In Phetchburi, a student is killed by a stray bullet. Student Yodsiri Tamkateuk, 13, is warming up for a swimming lesson at Petchburi Kindergarten’s swimming pool when gunfire breaks out at the next door temple where an ordination ceremony is taking place. A bullet rebounds off the roof hitting the boy in the head, killing him instantly. Swim coach, Saichai Wachiramongkontorn, 48, says the roof of the pool has been hit by bullets during similar ceremonies, but this was the first time someone was injured.

In Pattaya, a German man chokes to death on his own false teeth. Klaus Peter Rudole J Unger, 69, walks into Lucky Love beer bar in North Pattaya Soi 6 and asks for a bottle of water. He tells the bar owner, 24-year-old Kanittha Noothing, that he is having difficulty breathing. She takes him to rest in a room upstairs and calls an ambulance. When the doctor arrives, Klaus is collapsed on the bed with his false teeth lodged in his throat. The doctor removes the dentures but is unable to revive him.
