This Shop for Men

This Shop for Men

March 12th, 2009

Tucked down a small alley next to the Yada Building is this equally small store. But despite it’s diminutive size, it’s big on attitude and packed with products. From the colorful underwear hanging all over the windows and the pictures of half-naked men in skimpy briefs, it’s clear that This Shop for Men is aimed at a certain percentage of the male population.

While the Unico and 2xist briefs (B840 and B1,150, respectively) are more catchy, we loved the (super) low-rise boxers in sugar-candy colors (B475-1,360), ranging from pale pink to Scottish check. Highlighted brands include Toot’s unique savvy printed and vivid colored undies from Japan (B1,360-1,600, www.pants-ya.com). Fine fabrics and unique designs mean these items aren’t cheap. While briefs are the undoubted specialty, they do also retail tank tops, pants, fashion accessories and the grooming products line, Pur, for men and women.
