B Garden (Sukhumvit Rd.)

B Garden (Sukhumvit Rd.)

Location, location, location. That old mantra that can make a big difference to a restaurant’s success and failure. And being next to Au Bon Pain and Secret Recipe at the end of a mall corridor means B Garden isn’t blessed on that front. To be fair, they do try and make you forget your surroundings.

B'Kool Kitchen

The very colorful house-restaurant off the residential Soi 10 features liad-back-yet-loud walls (mainly pastel shades-but lots of different shades), massive smiles on the faces of the assembled wait staff and a long menu of Thai, Western and Chinese fare.

B-Resto

Simple, no-nonsense and homey with a touch of class: a description fitting the hostesses, the decor, and the French food alike. Order a coffee and you’re welcome to stay all day.

Baan Ar-charn

Like a lot of places on Soi Rangnam, Baan Ar-charn hosts its fair share of clueless foreign diners alongside big tables of Thais, all of them probably drawn to the place’s cozy but slightly awkward British pub meets country house looks.

Baan Barami

The beautiful Thai-style compound is an art gallery space that doubles as a teaching studio up front. Nearby is a piano lounge in vintage decor. The restaurant serves a mix of Asain delights from Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai cuisines.

Baan Khanitha (Soi Ruam Rudee)

this renowed, high-end, two-story house serves toned-down Thai cuisine with a taste that can best be described as "gentle" or better yet, "farang friendly." The sort of food for foreigners who want culture, but can't stomach spicy stuff. It's a dining experience in a clean and shiny newly built  tradiotional home with top-notch service.

An old favorite has espanded to this brand new outlet. They still serve up "farang friendly" Thai cuisine-which can be spiced up for Thai tastes

Baan Klang Nam

What began as a modest seafood restaurant in a refurished antique wood house is now a hot spot for tourists and locals alike. Whether you're in the main structure, on the covered patio or on the boat-shaped addition, all seating is alfresco. Huge dished of everything from the sea are served by well-trained stass.

Baan Klang Nam 2

Unlike the original outlet, this offshoot branch is more airy, has hipper decor and ample parking. But hearty seafood dishes with hefty prices are still the strong points. Weekends see lots of big families with masses of kids.

Baan Mae Yui

Homemade one-dish specials reign at this small, open air eatery spruced up with vibrant candy-color tables and chairs.

Filled with mainstream hits, this pub-cum-restaurant dishes out eclectic spicy Thai fare that arrives in huge portions. Live music every weekend from 8pm onwards.

Baan Narathiwas

If home is where the heart is, then come here with an appetite. Right on the side of the road, with a huge red sign, this white restaurant is hard to miss. Serve Thai seafood. Judging by the numerous dishes accompanied with either mayo or salad cream they really like their mayonnaise.
