This week you will mainly die from...
Boredom
So it seems the old saying was true. Scientists from the University College London recently completed a survey that discovered that those who were bored at work were two and a half times more likely to die of a heart problem than their more interested colleagues. It seems like it wasn’t the chronic boredom of the 9 to 5 grind that got them, but the fact it drove many to partake in ‘risky’ behavior like drinking, drugs and smoking to alleviate the ennui. So the next time you complain that your job’s boring you to death, just consider how right you are.
