You may soon be able to go maskless outside in mid June with Thailand’s target to classify COVID-19 as an endemic disease in July.
According to permanent public health secretary Dr Kiattiphum Wongrajit at a seminar in Surat Thani, the ministry will begin easing mask mandates to infected and high risk individuals, enclosed space environments, and crowded areas.
This decision, however, needs to be finalized by the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, so stay tuned for more information.
