Ari's cute new fashion cafe does sweet treats and Japanese curry.
Taking over a three-story house and garden with pastel colors and charming vintage clutter, this cafe has more than a hint of Mad Hatter’s tea party about it. The frilly clothes and accessories on sale at the attached Chuanpisamai Bride store recall the place’s origins as a vintage treasure trove at Chatuchak Market, but there’s little dainty about the menu’s heart Japanese curries, piled-high pancakes and Oreo-topped Nutella freakshakes.
Ari's new vintage cafe stems from a fashion brand of the same name. The three-story Chuanpisamai cafe lets you browse through vintage-style accesseries, swimwear and wedding dresses while also chitchatting with your friends and indulging sweet treats.
Order up a plate of waffles (B228), topped with fresh berries and honey, or go with the blueberry cheese pie (B88) and Oreo Nutella shake (B148). For something savory, they do hearty plates of Japanese curry (B138).
