Piccolo Vicolo

Old World vibes in a forgotten Ratchathewi alley.

Tucked away in a Ratchathewi alley, this vintage-style café brings Old World vibes and new energy to an overlooked area.

Piccolo Vicolo, meaning “little alley” in Italian, is part of the GalileOasis space, a revitalized commercial building that houses a hotel, art space, theater, and café. The interiors are all brushed concrete and shabby walls, speckled with vintage furniture, exposed beams, and potted plants.

Try the specialty, the green-topped matcha coconut water (B140), or something simple like a piccolo latte (B100) made with the option of light to medium roast beans. Coffee aficionados should look to the “Artisan” menu, which offers beans from Brazil, Laos, and Thailand, or “Lively” for Ethiopian and Colombian beans.

On the side, order the lemon tart or Basque cheesecake with raspberry sauce (both B140).
