BANGKOK RESTAURANT

Teppan Niku Kappo

You can afford this Japanese fine-dining feast.

Falling somewhere in between casual izakaya and the higher-end kaiseki, Thonglor’s new teppanyaki/kappo restaurant Teppan Niku Kappo allows diners to enjoy an omakase (B1,200-2,300) experience in a more relaxed setting.

Take a seat at the counter surrounding the open kitchen to watch as chefs prepare dishes of snow-aged wagyu and niku (meat) sushi, or head to the outside terrace for a glass of Japanese craft draft beer (250ml) or one of 50 different types of sake (100ml)—both priced at B99—with a side of kushi (meat skewers).
