The savory and sweet dishes baked on-site start with a simple loaves of bread flavored with milk, sweet potato or earl grey. But these can also be sampled in decadent desserts like the The Earl of Grey (earl grey toast with vanilla ice cream and earl grey custard) or the Apple Bomb (bread roll stuffed with a whole apple and cinnamon, served with custard sauce). Smoothies like the banana cinnamon come all dolled up with freakshake-worthy heaps of crumble and cream. On the savory side, try the black Angus steak sandwich or smoked salmon open-face sandwich.
Central Eastville’s Toast Company rolls out a range of savory and sweet dishes all centered around baked dough.
The on-site bakery preps fresh-daily treats like milk bread (B60 for a small loaf), sweet potato bread (B80 for a small loaf) and earl grey bread, which features in the indulgent The Earl of Grey (earl grey toast with vanilla ice cream and earl grey custard, B260).
Other sweet picks include the Apple Bomb (B320)—a bread roll stuffed with a whole apple and cinnamon, served with custard sauce—along with "gashing" cheese tart (B80) and smoothies like banana cinnamon (B125), all dolled up like a freakshake with crumble and lots of cream.
On the savory side, try the black Angus steak sandwich (B750) or smoked salmon open-face sandwich (B135).
