After nine years as chef de cuisine at Le Normandie, Arnaud Dunand has departed to open his own restaurant. Diners can get a sneak peek of his new project startin Oct 8, when Dunand takes over the top floor of Gaggan Anand for an exciting, three-month pop-up.

Named after the five flavors essential to Korean cooking—salty, sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, known together as omi—the cafe specializes in Korean rice cakes, cooked fresh each morning to use in their sweet and savory treats. For those who crave something outside the rulebook, try the creamy injeolmi (B180), a sticky rice cake stuffed with red bean and sweet potato cream.
