Bangkok’s most dedicated burger maker, Taiki Tsubota of Bun Meat and Cheese, is upping his game with an ambitious project that will pay homage to the greasiest, guiltiest of pleasures the world has to offer.

The “Bun Meat and Cheese World Tour” is taking diners on the global tour they can’t make right now, with founder Tsubota serving his spins on burgers from some of the world’s most famous burger joints every month. And he’s starting with a tribute to Shake Shack.

The “Fake Shack” burger, which debuts tomorrow, May 28, resembles the real deal with its springy housemade potato roll, perfectly smashed and seared US black angus beef patty, a melted slice of American cheese, thinly sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and a homemade special “fake” sauce.

You can get your fake shack on for B260 until June 15 at The Commons Thonglor. After that, Tsubota and co. will introduce a brand-new tribute burger.

Only 30 burgers will be available each day.

Open daily 11am-8pm. The Commons (Thonglor), Thonglor Soi 17 (Sukhumvit Soi 55).
