Calling all Mulberry fans: the Mulberry Alexa bag is back. On the eve of their 50th anniversary, the British label is kicking off celebrations with the return of one of their most desired   silhouettes, the Alexa.

First launched in 2010, the iconic satchel-style bag was inspired by British model and designer Alexa Chung, who was frequently spotted with a vintage Mulberry Elkington briefcase by her side. This inspired the heritage brand to create a relaxed, modern version of the traditionally formal men’s satchel, and the Alexa—the most sought-after Mulberry bag of all time—was born. It soon became the “it” bag of the 2010s, and was seen on the arms of every fashion influencer from Chung herself to Olivia Palermo and Sarah Jessica Parker.

The new version of the handbag now features a slew of sustainable updates. The Alexa 2.0 is made with leather from environmentally accredited, gold standard tanneries. They’re all crafted at the brand’s carbon-neutral UK factories and range in shades from earthy neutrals and joyful neon—just in time for the festive season—to signature Mulberry hues. As with the original collection, a trio of sizes is available: mini, medium, and oversized.
