The Anantara Layan Phuket will welcome chef Riley Sanders from Michelin-starred Canvas this Oct 9-10 for the first dinner in a new series called “Bangkok Culinary Greats,” presented by sparkling and mineral water brands San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.

Sanders, who’s known for his undying passion for Thai ingredients, will be teaming up with the uber-luxurious hotel’s restaurant Age, a high-end haven for premium meats and locally caught seafood served in an industrial, New York loft-style setting.

The six-course menu (B3,000) will include dishes such as Canvas’ signature bread made from toasted red rice as well as its smoked dry-aged duck from Khao Yai. As for upmarket meats, there will also be Thai wagyu top sirloin from Mukdahan, sturgeon from Hua Hin and a unique dessert made with lady finger bananas. Get the full experience with the wine pairing for B3,500, too.

For reservations, call 02-236-5911 or email age.alay@anantara.com.
