Earlier this month, a Pink Dot campaign video about elderly trans woman Rose went viral on social media. Homeless for decades, 78-year-old Rose lives at The T Project, a modest shelter for transgender people run by June Chua. Sadly, the shelter is in danger of having to relocate due to lack of funds.

As reported in a story by The New Paper over the weekend, The T Project, a shophouse attic initially funded by a local non-profit, is struggling to come up with the $500 per month needed to keep the premises and provide for its four residents. There is a possibility the facility may have to move to a workers' dormitory, something June hopes to avoid.

The T Project has created a PayPal account for those wishing to help fund the shelter and the set-up of a transgender resource center. More information on their Facebook page.
