How do you know when you’ve really made it? When your Nashville hot chicken is so legit that your restaurant gets invited to participate in a hot chicken festival that’s actually held in Nashville.

Fowlmouth, Bangkok’s shrine to crispy, tongue-searing and utterly delicious Nashville-style hot chicken, has just been invited to take part in the Music City Hot Chicken Festival this Jul 4.

The annual event rallies together a who’s who of hot chicken slingers in the increasingly cool Tennessee city and sees them serving their best hits from food trucks. This year, the event will be digital-only, as is the norm these days. Thanks to former deputy mayor of Nashville and current Bangkok resident Curt Garrigan, Fowlmouth is joining the party—the first and only international restaurant to take part in the festivities so far.

To say thanks and further spread the gospel of spicy fried chicken, all three branches of Fowlmouth—Mahatun, the Commons Saladaeng and the Commons Thonglor—will be offering 10 percent off dine-in, takeout and delivery orders from fowlmouthbkk.com from Jul 4-6.

While it might be an online affair this year, Fowlmouth has been invited to join the festival in Nashville in 2021. Congrats, guys.
