Hua launched its soft opening in November with the aim of combining Hong Kong and Yaowarat, Bangkok’s famous Chinatown area for street food.

For the Cantonese cuisine purists among you, don’t miss the roast duck, signature char siu, shrimp dumplings, or poached white-cut chicken with a choice of jasmine rice or their egg noodles. Or, if you’re around for breakfast, you can opt for a hearty bowl of congee with minced pork or a century egg.

If you’re in it for the street food bites, you’ll find a menu of spring rolls (B180), har gow (B140), and BBQ pork buns (B80) on offer, and you can finish it all off with salted egg yolk lava bun (B80) or ginkgo and taro sticky rice cake (B120).

Housed in the Grande Centre Surawong, the interior is decorated in modern Chinese-style interiors with high, clear ceilings and a large glass enclosure opening to the gardens and natural light.
