2022 is a golden year for chocolate lovers in Bangkok. Following the opening of Thailand’s first cacao-centric bistro 31 Degrees and cozy chocolate factory-slash-cafe Tempered, Bangkok has welcomed another choco-contender in the Choco Project on Sukhumvit Soi 32.

Situated in front of popular Japanese salon Rikyu by Boy, Choco Project is a pop-up cafe that initially began as a delivery-only project on Instagram with chocolate concoctions that won many online hearts.

How rich do you want your chocolate? Choco Project’s got you covered as it has up to three levels of richness for their chocolate drinks. Try their Choco No.3 (B150), an edible delight with a comforting bitterness from 90% dark chocolate topped with cacao nibs.

Another must-try is the Brookie (B140), which draws the best from brownies and cookies in one bite: richly moist but crunchy. The other crowd-pleasing menu item is the chocolate pudding (B110) made from intensely decadent chocolate topped with whip cream and chocolate flakes.

Choco Project’s pop-up cafe will operate until Oct 31, so go now to beat the hipster crowds.

Soko Project. Sukhumvit Soi 32. Open Mon-Tue 10am-5pm; Thu-Sun 10am-5pm.
