When you’re craving a frozen dessert and a baked good at the same time, it's ice cream sando time. Sure, you could rummage through freezer burnt junk at 7/11, but a number of Bangkok's favorite high-end eateries are dabbling in the subtle art of the icy sandwich. This not-so-classic dessert has become ever more popular and sure to get even more so now that the mercury is rising.

Peppina

Peppina's seasonal ice-cream sandwiches are in collaboration with Michelin starred Chef Saki Hoshino of Yora and Sailor, offering these exciting Bangkok-Naples Ice-cream works of art. Inspired by the iconic three-layered Neapolitan ice cream, the chef uses 100% coconut cream and organic mulberries from Chiang Mai with coconut and mulberry flavored ice cream sandwiched together between chocolate cookies (B275/piece) from Kadkokoa’s Chunpon Dark Chocolate. The Bangkok-Naples Ice-Cream Sandos is available until April only at Peppina’s Sukhumvit 33 branch.
