Chef’s Table E-Sarn Summer

For its second edition, Chef’s Table is headed to TAAN, where executive chef Monthep “Thep” Kamolsilp will be collaborating with Udon Thani’s Samuay & Sons’ chef Weerawat “Num” Triyasenawat to create dishes using ingredients sourced from their two-day foraging trip across the northeastern Isaan region. The nine-course set menu costs B2,900 per person. Chef Steve Pop-up Event

On Apr 3-4, Bunker’s former sous chef (and one of “Bangkok’s sexiest male chefs”) Steve Doucakis is throwing a five-course dinner at  The Rose Natural Wine Bar. Instead of starting with the food, this time chef Steve selected the wines before developing dishes to complement them, allowing the sustainable, organic and biodynamic bottles to shine. Khao Tom Kui

This night dedicated entirely to congee, or khao tom kui (plain rice soup), will see five top chefs come together at Surface to celebrate the Thai traditional dish, along with 24 different side dishes. The chefs include: Chalee Kader from 100 Mahaseth; Chaichat “Randy” Noprapa from Fillets; Chudaree “Tam” Debhakam and Weerawat “Num” Triyasenawat  from Samuay & Sons (Udon Thani); and Prin Polsuk (formerly of Nahm, now of David Thompson's Someday Everyday).
