It’s a bummer that the much-anticipated Jamcity was postponed, but you can catch one of the headliners at a virtual concert bright and early this Friday.

Chicago-hailing indie folk duo Whitney were set to make their Bangkok debut back in March, though plans for the riverside festival were scuppered in the wake of Covid-19. Now, Jamcity's organizer, Have You Heard, is backing a livestreamed concert by the duo on Jun 12.

Tickets for the e-concert are priced at US$20 (roughly B627) with all profits going directly to organizations like Black Lives Matter, My Block My Hood My City and National Independent Venue Association, in support of the ongoing George Floyd protests in the US and beyond. Tickets are available via Have You Heard here. As the concert is US-based, the time difference means a 7am start for Bangkokians—what better excuse to get your weekend started early?
